Big dukes in N.C. come out against S.C. in a water war

This Catawba River Basin map should be all that’s needed to visualize the impact North Carolina is having on depleting South Carolina of God’s elixir of life: water.

As usual, deep pockets have their hands in this one – this time it’s Duke Energy and the city of Charlotte. With Duke’s thirst for power generation and Charlotte’s recent population explosion, their unfair water usage is putting a damper on southern life here in S.C.
