To see what shrimp see, just wear polarized glasses!

The world from the eye’s of a shrimp is not the same one you and I see everyday.a mantis shrimp from off the SC coastCurrent Biology has opened our eyes into what shrimp see, and it looks like the closest we’re gonna get to it is by putting on a pair of polarized sunglasses.

If you don’t have any with you right now though, just click the thumbnail for a photo of how they see light reflected, a trait brought on by nature for their need to hunt for food from the ocean floor, and at the same time, hide from their predators.
