Germany wins Kayaking Gold

a kayakerEven after starting his final run in 4th place, Alexander Grimm paddled through the gates finishing first in the men’s singles slalom for his ’08 Olympics run.

Grimm’s gold medal was Germany’s first medal for the Beijing Olympics, undoubtedly making his country proud.

Congratulations Alexander!
