Composting and Recycling leaves little garbage

Instead of spending $200 million to renew the Charleston County garbage incinerator, the Sierra Club has a better idea: how about everyone do some honest recycling and cut down on waste & consumption so we can pass this planet on to the next generation? a compost pile

I must say from first hand experience: recycling makes a huge difference! Here at home, we recycle all plastic bags & containers, glass bottles & jars, paper & cardboard, and aluminum & tin cans. Heck, I even pull the plastic window out of envelopes when recycling the paper. Now, you may not be that interested in recycling, but every little bit helps. It sure makes use of all those plastic storage bins I had stacked up in the corner of the garage!

And you wouldn’t believe how much recycling has cut down on our garbage. Heck, there’ve been several times when I didn’t even roll the garbage out because there was hardly anything in it, and we only eat out once or twice a month!

We compost everything too, but to be honest, with just the two of us, it’s only good for one batch of dirt per year, but it’s still the right thing to do; just be sure to wear a good mold mask!

This is the sbucejt that needs to be front page news! All of our landfills are filling up faster now than ever. Its time to reverse this trend. Imagine, landfills shrinking Ok that’s more advanced. The first step is to get more people doing more things like Jen and Grant. Stop buying packaging, there’s no waste to worry about. Figuring out ways and means to get the masses to follow is challenging. Make it popular with advertising with celebrity personalities is too expensive. Somehow, there’s always possibilities. Get people talking about packaging in particular is a point to ponder.

What do you think about that?
