Charleston Race Week, Canoe and Kayak Festival

As the title suggests, several events are kicking off in the area over the next few days.

The International Sailboat Regatta launches today, and lasts through Sunday.

Tomorrow, the East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival takes place over at James Island County Park, and if you’re in the mood for some lo’ country grits – who isn’t? – the World Grits Festival is in St. George through Sunday.

Sailing, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming in grits – what could be finer?
