Check your insurance BEFORE Hurricane season
The 2009 hurricane season begins June 1. Even with the predictions of the number of named storms expected to form this year, no one can tell exactly where or when the next hurricane will strike. The South Carolina Insurance News Service encourages home and business owners to be prepared and have the correct insurance in place.
A few key elements to be aware of:

- Income Tax Credits
- Catastrophe Savings Accounts
- Storm Risk Mitigation and Premium Discounts
- Cancellation and Non-Renewal of Insurance Policies
